Beyond the Whiteboard

Hi guys, we as an affiliate have signed up to Beyond the Whiteboard .

We encourage all our members to sign up to Beyond the Whiteboard. Some may be asking what Beyond the Whiteboard is. Below is a basic outline of some of the features of the Whiteboard.

Features:
Log Workout of the day
Log meals
Plan Workouts
Log Weigh- ins

Have access to videos & articles: outlining movements and their standards. Great for the newer members to be able to familiarize yourselves with terminologies, names and movement standards. This is also a great tool for the guys wanting to be a bit more serious about their training. Stay informed on movements and the required standards for competition.

Compare your results (times, rounds etc): When you sign up you will be able to associate yourself with CrossFit B4C. Meaning that you will receive the daily WOD, directly to the whiteboard. You can then log your result for that workout and compare your score with all the other members associated to B4C and also compare your result to others in the rest of the world. It is a great way to track progress.

Movement Modalities: After every workout, Beyond the Whiteboard updates your modality wheel. This shows you a breakdown of how much weightlifting, gymnastics, mono-structural and uncategorized training you have done. You can also view a complete breakdown of how many times you have done each movement in a workout.

Other Features include: Power output after every workout, Monthly calendar, tracks (follow other peoples WODS from across the world. Lifestyle log (keep track of sleep, meals, mobility work etc and get points for each day), workout journal (keep track of how you felt after every workout).


We believe that this is a great way to stay on top of your game, to track your results and achieve your goals. It is also a great way to interact with the rest of the B4C community.

There is a small monthly fee payable to Beyond the Whiteboard of $3 per month, which equates to roughly R25 per month. B4C make nothing from this. We just think that it is a service that will benefit our members.

Upon signing up, and after you have entered your payment details. Navigate to the "Edit Profile" tab. There you will be able to add a photo and any other information you would like to add. Most importantly on that page is to click on the "change gym association" link. This will take you to a search page where you can search for the affiliate of your choice. In the search field type in "CrossFit B4C". Then you will be associated to us as an affiliate. Meaning that you will have access to the daily WOD as well as the gym activity feeds etc.

The site does take some getting used to. Just play around and ask if you get stuck. There is also a very useful help section on the site for any queries you might have.
